The Finnish Transplant Sport Association
The Finnish Transplant Sport Association (ELLI) is a national charitable sports organisation for organ transplant recipients (heart, heart and lung, lung, kidney and liver) and for those undergoing dialysis treatments. The main task of ELLI is to promote its members' rights to proper physical exercise services and to ensure safe sporting methods.
The Finnish Transplant Sport Association was founded by two of the largest transplant related associations: The Finnish Association for Organ-Transplant and Kidney Patients and The Finnish Heart and Lung Transplant Association. Altogether through these two associations, Elli has over 6000 individual members throughout the country.
